1997 Los Angeles Legends

The Los Angeles Legends started the LLB season with a July 10th win against the short-lived San Francisco Bay Sox team. Thelma "Tiby" Eisen, former outfielder for the Fort Wayne Daisies of the AAGPBL, threw out the first pitch at Jackie Robinson Stadium. And by the time the Lengends played their last game on August 30th, the Legends had a 21 win and 8 loss record. This got them into the first (and only) LLB World Series, which they played against the San Jose Spitfires in a best-of-five series. Unfortunately for the Legends, the Spitfires swept the series in 3 games.
