LADIES LEAGUE BASEBALL

This is the story of an almost forgotten women's professional baseball league. The Ladies League Baseball (later known as the Ladies Professional Baseball League) was founded in 1997 and it was the first professional women's baseball league since the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League ended in 1954.
During its two years of play, over 100 women were able to experience being paid professional baseball players, in 8 teams that stretched from the West Coast to the East Coast.
